Harry Murray VC Medal Group Display

The word has been that the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston is unveiling the Harry Murray VC Medal Group in June.

We have just had confirmation from Jon Addison  Curator History,
Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery:

“The museum will have Murray’s medal group (including his VC) on display from the 6th of June, until late August, after which time they will be travelling to Canberra to be donated by theMurray family to the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
Following this we are planning on putting on display a range of personal papers relating to Harry Murray, which will be on loan from his Niece, Ann Batalibasi. This display will be intended to show the personal side of Murray the man.
Best regards,
Jon Addison”
